Gran Turismo 5 GT5 Prologue demo free download Oct. 24th

The October 24th downloadable demo of Prologue should hold fans over long enough until the December 13th release of Gran Turismo Prologue. Pricing will be set at 4,980 Yen for the Blu-Ray disc and 4,500 as a straight download. If it's only four bucks, give us the disc; we don't want a download that costs as much as a full game.

After initially speculating that their frozen shooter Lost Planet could come to PS3, then stating (quite unequivocally) that neither Lost Planet nor Dead Rising would find their way to the Wii or PS3, Capcom has announced at their London Gamer's Day event that Lost Planet will indeed be on PS3 "early next year."

Free iPhone Video Converter

This is not news but I keep being asked my people around me how to convert DVDs and other video clips for viewing on iPhone. iPhone only accepts very specific MPEG-4 / H.264 formats in pre-set resolution. The steps are simple provided you have the right tools. I am recommending one which is free and created by Videora, the guys who created the famous PSP Video 9.

http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPhone/

Videora iPhone Converter is a free iPhone video converter that converts video files, YouTube videos, movies and DVD's so you can play them on your iPhone. The software can convert all types of video files (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, vob, mpeg, DVD's, YouTube, etc.) into the proper video formats (MPEG-4, H.264) that play on the iPhone.

When combined with Videora, the softeare also allows you to download, convert and copy video to your iPhone automatically, using BitTorrent and RSS technology.

A Picture is worth more than a thousand words

Having been a Mac user for almost a year now, I must say I feel alienated sometimes when most of your friends and co-workers are Windows users. Every time my friends come to me asking for recommendations on a new PC, I always point them to Macs as an option. Hong Kong people are very practical and generally skeptical about change, so it gets me excited every time I successfully convert them from the 'dark' side.

Well, a picture is worth more than a thousand words, and without a doubt the Mac penetration rates in US colleges is definitely overwhelming. Well done, Steve!

MSN Admits Zune is Ugly

I saw a post on the homepage of MSN today for the top design disasters of the tech world. Guess what made the list? Our friend the brown Zune. Good to see Microsoft has some humor in itself, even if it is a stretch from one of their affiliate companies.
