GadgetGear is geared to satisfy every customer. We have created our shipping and returns policy with the customer in mind. When you place an order with us, you can login to your account at any time, and check on the progress of your order.
A large majority of our products are stocked in our Sydney warehouse and shipped using local courier services or Express Post. This includes:
DS Flash Carts: R4, TT, M3, DS one and all other NDS accessories
Limited numbers of NDS consoles in special colours
Wii controllers, cables, chargers, and Freeloader
All PSP accessories
Most PS3 accessories
MusicStudio speakers and accessories
iPhone and iPod cases and accessories
All our consoles such as PS3, Wii, PSP, and more quantities of DS and DSi consoles are stocked in Hong Kong and shipped using door to door courier which only takes 2 - 3 working days to arrive.
For ALL our products, whether stocked in HK or Sydney, we are committed to ship orders out within 1 - 2 business days. Occasionally we may run out of stock. If this occurs, we will ship the order to the customer as soon as possible. If there will be an extended delay, the customer will be notified.
The shipping cost is as follows:
AUD $10.00 for the first 0.5 kg and $7.00 thereafter.
(We ship using Courier with tracking numbers which you can track online and unlike other sites we NEVER use Registered Post because they are slow)
The total shipping cost for orders is shown at checkout. We fulfill orders Australia wide and also internationally. We reserve the right to change couriers without notice. We cannot accept orders with a PO Box as an address for some of our products (we will notify you accordingly).
All orders at GadgetGear are processed in Australian currency unless notified otherwise.
For credit card transactions GadgetGear reserves the right to check customers credit card details by asking for extra information to be supplied on any purchase. Failure to provide these details will void the transaction and the customers credit card will be refunded.
Purchases made by Paypal eChecks will not be sent until funds have been cleared.
Returns Information
Faulty Items:
If your item(s) appear damaged in transit, or if they are faulty, please notify us by email immediately. Should you wish to keep the items anyway, please notify us in case there is a future claim on these products. Once notified by email we will issue you with a return authorisation (RMA) number. This RMA number will be required for tracking the status of the return. Any claims regarding a faulty item must be made by email within 48 hours of delivery. For early life failure (ELF) returns, we must be notified by email within 14 days from the date of shipment of your order.
For all returns other than if faulty:
You may return a product, as long as you have contacted Customer Service by email within seven calendar days of the date the products were shipped to you. You must then return the product(s) within fourteen days. Returns received by us beyond fourteen calendar days from the original shipping date will not be accepted for return. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item to GadgetGear and the shipping fee is non refundable. All return requests will be confirmed to you via e-mail with a return authorisation (RMA) number. This RMA number will be required for tracking the status of the return. Please do not send any goods to us prior to receiving this number. GadgetGear has the right to refuse to return any item at its sole discretion. We do not need to provide a reason. Examples where we may refuse a return include, but are not limited to:
- is incomplete or missing parts.
- is not returned in its original packaging or the packaging has been opened.
- shows physical damage to the product or its packaging.
- is no longer offered for sale by GadgetGear.
- the price of one or all of the goods ordered have changed.
Due to the costs involved with processing returns and cancellations, a 15% re-stocking/cancellation fee will apply for change of mind returns/cancellations.
